Just what is it? Where is this "Smart-Sim Technology"? Where is this engine they were boasting about? Apparently the engine doesn't support beards very well. It's "more limiting" than Sims 3 engin...

The person who actually said that was Ryan Vaughan and he left the sims team in December last year if I remember correctly.
It was? I had the impression that blog entry had her name on it, my bad. Still. I don't think he wrote that alone with the rest of the team not knowing what was being told to the fans after the backlash of no toddlers and pools. They wrote that blog entry to reassure fans and to stop the potential pre-orders cancellations spree. Even if for that they had to blatantly lie. They knew from the start the engine was going to be limited, why say those things and give hope to people? It's just... frustrating.
