EA, a Question About Sims 4 Game Engine

Just what is it? Where is this "Smart-Sim Technology"? Where is this engine they were boasting about? Apparently the engine doesn't support beards very well. It's "more limiting" than Sims 3 engin...

Sims are smart as a rock, they have so much emotions as Kristen Stewart in Twilight.
