EA Forum/Old Sims Forums Account Help

Question

Hi!Sorry if I've posted this in the wrong category, I am looking for some help regarding my old Sims Forums account. I've reached out to EA Help and they said that they are "unable to check your forums account since we are only able to look into EA Accounts here at EA Chat."&nbsp;When logging into the new EA Forums all my badges were missing and my post that was confirmed to be migrated is gone. My old username was Alexis3142. I had changed the email for my EA account back in 2020 and I still have access to my old email. I dont know if that email change is the cause of this issue.&nbsp;Im not sure how to move forward or fix this issue or who to even ask for help. I had 10 year badges and many others. But mostly my MySims Legacy Challenge discussion is gone. I appreciate anyone who is able to give me some advice or point me in the right direction.

Sininend&nbsp; I would guess that the problem is that your email on the old site didn't match the one tied to your EA account.&nbsp; That was one of the conditions for migration.&nbsp; And now that all the data has been moved, there's no way to bring over your old thread.

The anniversary badges are also tied to the account, but the rest didn't get migrated at all.

Thank you so much for your response! I’m just a little confused as to why it didn’t match, because I could log on with my EA account/new email perfectly fine. So I thought it was linked… thank you very much for providing the link with the way back machine I really appreciate it. Hoping to recreate it soon since it really is gone.

In regards to the badges am I understanding correctly that I should have my badges if they were tied to my EA Account or no? Is there a way I could get my anniversary badges back? When I was talking to EA Help they said I should post on the forums and hopefully a moderator would be able to help!

Sininend&nbsp; Since your account didn't transfer, then your badges are gone too, unfortunately.
EA support reps often refer people to forums for help when support itself can't fix the problem.&nbsp; But often enough, no one on this forum (or Answers HQ) can fix it either.

Sininendif you need help with recreating it, I actually copied your entire thread over to a google doc before the old forums closed down (for myself just in case something like this were to happen)
