- Wyrren4 years agoRising VeteranNonono! I need my festival notifs! :o
@calico45 @DaWaterRat @Sharonia If you use mods, Scarlet has one that lets you know when sulani events are happening. I love it! https://www.patreon.com/posts/island-event-28138665 - I very much like to have the notifications :) I do use that mod what gives me notifications about Sulani events too, or I would never remember when those are :)

Anyone else annoyed by constant festivals notifications if you live in completely irrelevant non festival world like Sulani or Oasis spring..
Imagine living in Sulani and keep seeing snowy escape festivals pops up!
Doesn't make any sense, at least add an option to make it only appears if you live in that world..
But if you don't live in those worlds you NEED the notifications to know the festival is starting. You need it LESS in the world the festival is happening in. - OEII10014 years agoSeasoned AceThe notifications are very useful. If I want to send my sims to the Flea Market in San Myshuno's Spice Quarter, but they live in Brindleton Bay, the popup lets me know that, yes, it is the correct Sunday at 10 am. The message doesn't let me forget like it does with the awards ceremony in Del Sol Valley on Sunday evenings. I always miss that one.
- texxx784 years agoSeasoned AceI was about to say: i like the notifications and i wish that there were also for Sulani festivals but a lot of people has already mentioned. Anyway, another mention: please don't delete festivals notifications!!
- I'd rather have them than not have them. What I could do without are the notifications for every single item that my Sims collect and the pop-ups for something related to one of their traits. I also use a mod to let me know about the festivals in Sulani.
I currently have several Sims that live in Oasis Springs who are working on the SE aspirations. They need to know about festivals in Mt. Komorebi. I never thought about having Sims only being able to live in the world where their aspiration is connected. Especially in Mt. Komorebi. - netney524 years agoSeasoned AceI like getting the notifications but city living is one of my favourite packs out of all the sims games and I’ve played since sims 1. I send my sims to the festivals all the time and never get bored of them. The snowy escape ones I like but wish there was more to do they seem so boring and lifeless compared to the city living ones.
- Kittybass4 years agoSeasoned AceI was surprised to see the festivals happen at the same time but I don't mind the notifications. Sometimes I go to them, other times I don't. I wouldn't want the notifications turned off as I don't find them to be intrusive.

There are only so many days in the week and if you are going to have time to experience all of them in the Short Lifespan setting they have to be crammed in there... - kathmhughes4 years agoSeasoned AceWait, there are festivals in Sulani????
Do NOT nerf the notifications. I play rotationally, and as soon as flea market or children's festival pops up, I switch to my household that is collecting my Sims figurines or collecting void critters. I love it!
