EA please stop festivals notifications in non festival worlds

You seem not to mind with adding the option toggle but others seem not a fan since only their gameplay is what important..

It may be the title of your thread which is causing people to come in here and say they don't want the notifications to stop.

Options and toggles are always good. A way to keep most people happy.

Thanks. I'm going to wait to install it until after the next patch (which is Thursday) but I have now downloaded it.

Maybe ask them to turn on/off the notification. I need those notifications.

It's not your mods; that's how the default game works. I can't speak to the Snowy Escape festivals (I don't own that pack), but anyone who has each of the City Living festivals happening more often than two weeks either has a mod or a glitch making that happen.

Yes thank you. I used to have a mod what made flea market weekly, but not having it currently :)

I also looked at Carl's page, and there are schedules of the fests.

Was going to say just that. And the Snowy Escape festivals are Snow Festival one week, Lights Festival the next, with the Festival of Youth every Sunday. (At about the same time as the Fleamarket, so getting those one right after the other does make sense, but only every other week)

edit to add Depending on which CL schedule you get, Spice Festival and Festival of Light and Romance Festival and Festival of Snow can also be on the same days (which is my case) so if you have that schedule, I can see where it might seem to be a lot if they're not something you're interested in. Still not a daily occurrence under normal circumstances.

I mean, it's a music cue and a note on the notifications wall, which I find easy to ignore. But everyone has different tolerance levels for what they find "immersion breaking" So I wouldn't say no to toggles.

I think the festivals all need a proper schedule for the rotation so that they don't overlap eachother.

The good thing about that mod is that it rarely needs to be updated. :) I use it too.

Even though I never attend the festivals, the notifications really don't bother me. The sting does though ?
