Eco Living.. seriously?!

Why is going to be a whole EP? I would have taken a GP or even a SP but an EP?

oh...this is sooo close to the Generational game play update I wanted. Missed it by that much.... **sigh**

I hope it works for those that want it, but for me I have no peps for any packs going forward and if I do decide to buy it it will be brought when I can get it at an very very good price.

EA is, despite what many of you think, not obligated to give you what you want. They decide on the product, inspired or not, by what the customers express a want for. Then you as customer decide whether to buy the end product or not. The numbers will determine if EA made a good decision or not. You can be offended or displeased to your heart's content, it isn't going to change anything business-wise.

I am so excited for this. I've grown up with friends in communities and lived in a tiny home myself with a compost toilet. I love to make my sims more alternative. I think farming will be a part of this - chickens, jam, communities, knitting, honey, gardening, herbalism, off grid, tiny homes - I think it's all tied together really nicely and I'm all up for it.

I would've much preferred 'Country Living'... with farms, horses, chickens, cows, crops, etc. It would've also been the perfect opportunity to bring back werewolves!

Seriously though... 'Country Living' and 'Eco Living' are two themes that would fit perfectly well with each other as ONE whole expansion pack! But, then again, when has EA ever listened to their fans?

@Lustianicia The only things that worries me are those:

- We'll get a modern enviroment that doesn't feel rural/farm themed;
- We won't get any animals like Horses, Chickens, Pigs and Cows;
- (Thos two above will be OK, IF we have a LOOOOT of eco friendly stuff to do in the game);
- We won't have substantial Eco Friendly themed gameplay cuz they decided to turn a gamepack into an expansion pack just so that they could spend money making an "interactive" world that can be changed by your actions like the polluted island from Sulani.

If they send out a poll for their fans to vote on what the next stuff pack will be, I expect them to be honest and allow US to choose... since, you know, they literally asked us to vote on the next stuff pack. But that's not what happened... they were always going to have knitting, regardless of what we voted for, all while lying and telling us that we're voting for it.

I know for a fact that knitting didn't actually win those polls... especially not when we had much more interesting concepts (like 'Happy Haunts') as options. Then again, people still bought 'My First Pet', despite it being an obvious cash grab, so you might be right.

Country Living was proven to be fake and we now see on the Sims 4 Page Eco Living. It still could potentially include farming and canning etc but it's very up in the air right now. There's a trailer tomorrow at 8AM PST, 11AM EST.
