Is there a way to replace Robin Banks as the Burglar?
First you'll have to make your own burglars. Use the cheats listed here on young adult or adult non-occult sims.
The second step is dealing with Robin Banks. The thing is that burglars only need a trait to be selected to, well, be a burglar. Therefore moving her in does not fully solve the situation. There are 3 solutions though:
Solution 1
Move Robin Banks somewhere and use this cheat on her:
traits.remove_trait trait_isBurglarThen move her out again if you'd like.
Solution 2
Find Robin Banks in Manage Households menu and delete her.
Solution 3
Get Robin Banks to be excluded from the burglar filter. There are three main ways to do this:
- Turn her into an occult sim. Vampire, spellcaster, werewolf etc...
- Age her up into an elder. You can use a birthday cake to age NPC sims up too.
- Death. Ghosts will be excluded from so many filters...
Pregnancy is an option too, but that is only a temporary solution.
oh shoot, you DID already make a post on burglars. (I see it linked twice in your reply.) Sorry, I wasn't trying to make you repeat yourself, I just didn't see it because I was looking at THIS (below) list. These forums can be a confusing mess sometimes. I asked because I saw you had instructions for the Maid, Pizza Delivery, and Firefighter (who I also want to customize/replace) but not the burglar one. Sorry. (And thanks for making this complex guide!)
