Does she have the longevity trait from completing the fitness aspiration?

It's possible. I've still got a couple of distant relative sims kicking around in one of my games who were born four generations ago. I notice if they have the active trait it seems to keep them around longer - even if they don't finish the fitness aspiration (they're NPCs). Using a Sim Info mod I've found they have a lot more days than a normal one. One only has seven more days to go now though >:)

Sounds like you may have an unintentional equivalent of a sim I made that is stuck raising great grandchildren because I killed off his children & grandchildren while keeping him alive.

If you want the sim to die by old age, you'll need to press Control+Shift+C enter this cheat:

testingcheats on

Then select the sim you want to go and type in this cheat:

sims.age_up

This will force sim to age up if aging is turned on. As the elder stage is the last stage, this cheat will cause death by old age.

I don't play with aging on too often but when I do and I happen to have an elder who has lived well past their sell by date, having them hit the gym and push the limits while working out or find a younger sim to woohoo with usually does the trick. :D

I can confirm that this does indeed work :sunglasses: Two woohoo in a row and the old dear will meet her maker :naughty:

Same thing happened in my game. When my Gen 5 was a YA, she lived next to an old lady. Now Gen 7 is a child and I still see the old lady around town.

Here's a way to kill your elder without cheats or woohoo, should they not have a partner.

Purchase the Happy or Energized Potion as a reward. Have your elder drink the potion. They will be very Happy or Energized. Then have them go jogging. They will jog until they get the Dangerously Tired moodlet - but this moodlet will be overridden by the Very Happy or Energized moodlet. Then have your elder go jogging again... and have them meet Grim.

Note they need to drink the potion before going jogging the first time, otherwise, the Dangerously Tired moodlet will stick to the front and override any other positive moodlets, even if they drink the Happy potion afterwards.
