Elevators and Spiral Staircase (Do they work?)

I've not had any issues with the elevators. As for spiral staircases, Sims 4 does not have them (would be awesome if we did though).

The staircases were patched in, but they only go in L type shapes. Never had any issues with elevators either, but sims don't go inside them, but rather vanish in front and then appear outside the building, or if they are going to work or school will just vanish. The same as if they were just going to either work or school.

What sort of issues with elevators? They work pretty well in my game, though it would have been nice to have an animation making sims actually enter the elevator rather than just disappearing.

Not sure if you know this based on your comment but just for the sake of giving all stair options : you can make more than one angle in the stairs so U-shaped stairs are possible as well as L-shaped. And other forms as well if you want to. If make 3 turns you can get close to a spiral staircase, be it a square version instead of a proper round one.

I found this elevator CC mod by TheSimmer40 through Honnahoops Sims4 article. Looks like it works. You need "Realm of Magic" to get teleporters. Not sure if you would also need "City Living". I don't have either pack yet so buying two packs just for a mod, not even in any packs, seems a bit much.

If someone can make an elevator that actually works with the programed mechanics already in the game, why the heck can't Maxis and EA?

People who complain about l shaped staircase have not noticed that they also go in U and S and Z shapes
