I like it so far but my only moan is why does my sim come home from work every day with an ailment? I have 2 adult sims who work hard and 3 children which i was saving for a home for them when they grow up. But now it isnt possible wages is 700+1040 a day and party with the kids at weekend. Now it is impossible because 1500 for an ailment cure or cures per day. please tone down the ailments else my kids may end up homeless and penniless  

Ohh and i know about the Apothecary /fairies skills but that was for next generation. IRL if some one was contagious they would not be allowed into work and told to go to doctors/hospital 

I really like the expansion pack, but the ailments sure are annoying, which I was worried about. I'm surprised there's not a toggle for them. It almost encourages you to have a fairy or apothecary-focused sim in your household to stop the ailments.

I definitely agree that the ailments are way too much right now. I played in three households over the weekend, and it was the same story every time: the first ailment showed up within minutes of opening the household, and then again, literally within minutes of one ailment being cured or running out the timer, a new one would pop up, for every adult/YA in the household. 

Also, my post about this somehow mysteriously never appeared, but I am experiencing a bug (originally with mermaids, but now I have tested it, and it's all of the occults) where I cannot add traits in CAS when creating the household, even when I change over from fairy form/mermaid form/etc. to regular form. The only workaround I have found is to hit the dice to randomize the traits, save the household, and then use the cas.fulleditmode cheat to reopen the household and change the traits. It's... not ideal. 

I think my game fell prey to this, too. My Rock Star has had quite a bit of trauma in his life most recently, so if his emotions were imbalanced, I'm not surprised. I am surprised, however, how quickly he came down with an ailment. Yikes. His wife is newly pregnant with their sixth child. Trying to keep this hands-on father away from them, has been impossible, thus far. He allegedly got cured by a Naturopath, and his skin was clear for a few Sim hours, anyway. He went and held a concert in the evening and came back looking scarier than before he was cured! Not only that, but when I saved my game to shut down for that day, he had 2-days more of this ailment. The next day when I powered up again, it said he had 3-days. I do hope this doesn't spread to his entire family. If so, I'll just have to either stop playing this save altogether or disable this new EP (something I've never done before).

I must have been lucky. I played 5 sim days and only had one ailment. But I find them hard to cure. The fairies didn‘t help me and I couldn‘t find the right ingredients for the cure foraging. I ended up cheating. 

I bulk buy the cure pills from the apothecary shop (same as I do with pet wellness treats from the vet office). They're only 20 simoleons each. I get like 10 at a time, just in case. That gets rid of ailments quick. 😄

None of the pre-made fairy townies are actually fairies!

Is it just me or is there way too many aliens in Innisgreen?

Both before (they were in human form (I noticed while editing the badly dressed townies)) and after (in alien form) I took a visit to Simax (which is was cool I could finally go there with the new teleport stone!).

Draining positive emotions always worsens a relationship. Which sounds logical at first, until you can have a sim specifically offer to have their emotions drained to help their starving fairy friend. Like girl, you ASKED them to drain you. Why are you upset? This should be a neutral, or even positive interaction, like when normal sims offer their blood to vampires.
