Alright,this needs to be said.We are going to have playable faries.There not npcs or special pets.On Simscomunity we have a picture that shows life size faries.
Maxis keeps on forcing sims who prefer Masculine clothing to wear Feminine clothes again.
Maxis also forgot Female sims can prefer Masculine Fashion Choice so I don't think the goal is to go back to a dress in this case.
While I'm excited for the pack, I'm disappointed in several things I noticed in recent updates. As others have said, the hairs with leaves/flowers not having swatches without is annoying.
I'm worried about the luck and ailments system being frustrating to play with. It seems more manageable as a fairy and not other types of sims.
Once again there's really nothing special for occult kids and younger except some moodlets. I don't think mermaid or vampire kids/toddlers/infants even have moodlets?
Also, I'm disappointed that Plant Sims aren't being fully updated as their own occult. I'm glad they're getting some special attention, but why are they still a temporary buff? Maybe they could've been a special type of wingless "fairy" so they could be included in occult CAS.
Then don't choose what you feel are feminine type clothing for your male sims, NoahLGP. Easy peasy. 😊
Oh dear, and I've already planned a spellcaster/fairy romance, and a vampire/werewolf romance for my main family. Seems I'm gonna be busy building bridges.
Maybe we can ask the team to turn off female clothing displaying in the men's category...
Or let's put a toggle option in CAS. The game might run better with more toggles in the game..🫠🙃😁
What's with the no single bed, no fridge & no stove in the new pack? Also, why isn't there bat wings & eagle wings for the fairies? And why can't children be fairies with actual wings? Seriously.
I definitely agree. The bed & kitchen appliances are major oversights. Please either patch in a single-bed as a half-sized version of the double-bed, or as a larger version of the toddler bed. Or, for the price we're all paying for this pack, maybe include both versions of said single bed! And add a stove & fridge even modeled somewhat off of the one from Realm of Magic which might be the closest option. I'd also like more wings as well while they're patching stuff in.
Yeah; I'm not sure about that & I'd like there to be some cross-pack compatibility between the two skills: like someone who has maxed herbalism starts at level 3 or 5 of apothecary skills. Almost like you gained more skill from cross-stitching if you already knitted when there was cross-compatibility between those two skills.
I don't know why they keep doing this. I guess to show that these clothes are more compatible with masculine frames? But it defeats the purpose of having masculine and feminine tags in the first place.
It also takes a bit of fun away from making male sims who wear feminine clothing, imo. If clothing has no gender, then you lose some of the fun of exploring. Gender expression is a lot more fun when you're going against the grain, instead of playing by the rules.
Tagging needs improvement overall (Preppy/Polished/etc. isn't perfect either). If there is a sense of fear to categorize clothing styles by masculine/feminine—that it wouldn't be inclusive—you do somewhat defeat the purpose of filters.
I do not think anyone is here to insult, or make anyone else feel uncomfortable or not included with clothing styles under said filters. But if you are going that route, then just allow custom/editable filters for players. I'd love a "favourite" and "hide" tag myself.
