Enough with the constant updates

PLEASE! Stop forcing me to to wait an hour before I can jump onto an already broken game. Yes, this game used top update a lot in the past, but now it feels like there's a new micro update every week that will break mods and turn me away from playing entirely. I only have about an hour to play games most days after a full-time job and errands and whatever. I don't want to spend that hour sitting around for a useless update!!!!!!

  • Hello, Gretute_2002, frequent updates are a common thing in live-service games such as The Sims 4 and are needed to fix bugs in the game. Sometimes these major patches introduce some additional annoying bugs and require at hotfix. These are needed, especially when you consider that console players cannot use mods to fix some of the issues.

I recommend that you go offline and launch The Sims 4 when there is an update, that way you do not have to update until you are ready to update. The Sims 4 will continue to recieve many many more patch updates over time. This is just how live-service games run. The Sims team are going to update their game as much as they see fit.
