Epic is ridiculous and I hate it
I in my stupidity though I could play the free base game on Epic or Steam if I didn't feel like playing all of the packs on the EA app that I have since we still can't just pick and chose easily what we want to play with and not.
Now I needed to link both my Steam and Epic account to the EA one to play but I didn't think much of it, I have no plans on creating new accounts on any of these game platforms.
No the problem is I didn't actually just get the base game when I downloaded them on Steam/ Epic, it just connects with the EA app and plays all of the packs there anyway. I figures why even have them installed on the two other platsforms then since that's not what I wanted/ needed.
So I delete the game on Steam, the problem is Epic. I can't delete it from there and when I go to the EA app it says the Sims 4 is accessed through Epic now.
The ridiculous thing is that when I press play in the EA app it starts the Epic app to then switch back to the EA app, so now I have to have two apps open in the background to play this game.
I don't want that, that's redundant so I tried deleting Epic but that ment the game reinstalled iself again for the nth time and I can't start it because I need to have the Epic Games app installed. Sigh. I want to swear at this point.
I have googled to try and find a way to get rid of this "accessed to Epic Games" on The Sims 4 in the EA app but I find nothing.
I only installed the base game on Epic and now I need to have the app just to play it even though if I try to play it on Epic it will open the EA app anyway.
Does anyone have any idea on how to fix this? I am desperate. I actually want to play for once and now I can't. I desperately want to go back to before this thing, I don't want to download the Epic Games app to play TS4 on the EA app. Ridiculus. I don't even own any packs on Epic and I bought the base game on Origin but now apparently Epic can clam it all.
I never want to even see that app ever again at this point but I am stuck.
Please help.
