I've gotten most of the EP's and GP's on sale, so that helps with any regrets, lol.
Outdoor Retreat and Spa Day, I think I paid full price, but I've used the heck outa them with relatively few glitches. It is really lame that we have only one getaway world by now. My Sims get promoted soon enough anyway, so I can always be ast to take time off for fun.
I play the active doc and scientist careers and retail of GTW all the time, no regrets there, except for BUGS. The Science career is out'n'out awesome. That said, the detective career is super repetitive, as well as the customer interactions in Retail.
Get Together was better than I expected. I only got 25% off, but it's still worth it. I play in Windenburg the most. I'm rather an outdoor person, and the countryside is downright gorgeous, with many details and ambient touches. My game would be almost unplayable without the Clubs now. I've gotten to rely on them for all sort of things. They really make Sim wrangling much easier. I'm rally glad they are functional with other content, too.
Dine Out I waited forever to get, even tho I wanted it badly. But I was waiting for the bugs to be fixed. Still waiting on most of them, but Half Off came up. I do use it tons, bugs and all, rage-rage-rage-rage-rage, lol. To be fair, I notice the bugs more when I'm running the resto, rather than just eating there.
City Living really left a bad taste in my mouth when I realized the apartments and giving out a key were limited to that world, and that made me wait until it was half off. The Singing almost makes up for it, but not quite. If more than two Sims could sing together, or there was a Band capability, that would have done the trick. But San Myshuno is my second most favorite world in which to play. I think it's because of the contrast to the other worlds, and all the activity. I'm not a linear, complete all tasks player, so interruptions don't bother me that much. Oh, and the semi-active/work from home careers are yummy, more please. The neighbor noise is overdone. I don't need that once or twice a day, it's too much because one can hardly ignore it. Realistically, if folks were that noisy, they'd be invited to move by the building management. I thought Complain To Landlord was going to be an option.
I suppose my least used Stuff Packs are Spooky Stuff and maybe Luxury Party now that there are other eating out options besides the Buffet Table. I do use the Luxury CAS items a lot, but that Stuff Pack had woefully few items. Cool Kitchen was another pack that was a head scratcher. It was very limited for actual appliances and cabinets/counters. The ice cream was well done, but the rest was meh. Perfect Patio was basically a $10 Hot Tub--ouch. :D
Then I sort of got behind on Stuff Packs. A big Half Price Sale came along, which only happens about once a year. So I got Packs 4-7, Spooky, Movie, Kids, and Romantic Garden-- for a $20 bonanza! No regrets there!
The only packs I'm missing now are Vampires and Bowling. I will wait until Vampires is on sale just because I'm not a big supernatural player. Bowling I'm getting this weekend--was too busy last with company.
Now that I'm getting pretty well stocked up, with objects/CAS items especially, I may be totally passing on some stuff packs unless they're interaction- or animation-heavy like some have been. For instance, the upcoming Fitness SP may be one I can resist. But no doubt there will some hook about it. :p
