For me-I make a bunch of Disney heroines, the white Disney Princesses but also Esmerlda, Pochantas, and Jasmine and Mulan. I also once (in sims 3) included a sim who was interested in another woman but her mom was old-fashioned woman and 'arranged' a marriage to an old-fashioned man from I think Egypt I think who was mean to her -which lead to a daughter having "simitis"-which was in my head a sim disability. She did end up after the mom died and divocring the husband-her high school sweet heart.
For relgiion? I have the menorah from Haunka be in my sims' Christan house and when one of my Sims 2 kids were children-they asked why they had a menorah when they're Christans. I had the mom explain that it was because J was a Jewish person.
