I am a straight female, but I do love to play with sims of all sexualities. The sims I start generations with are generally straight, but from there I let the sims choose who they like and will pair them up with who they have the most natural chemistry with. I love that sims have the ability to be gay, straight, or bisexual. I don't place roles on any of my sims, because I find the idea of "roles" to be archaic. I'm a female, but I work with tools, cut grass, grill (in fact I built my grill myself), bake, clean, and do everything that I need to have done. I'm not into stereotyping my sims.
Ethnicity isn't a huge factor, but I do like to diversify my families. Religion, I'm not religious, so why should my sims be.
