To me in the sims world there isn't any thought of who is black, white, kisses men or kisses girls and so forth. My sims look at other sims and say hey that is another sim lol. Same when there is a wedding it's hey it's a party lets drink juice and eat cake, there isn't a care in the world on whom is getting married. When I make stories I don't point out that so n' so is a black sim who likes men and is wiccan, I go with the flow of where my sim points me to. It's what I like about the the sim world I create.
Yes, I do this. I like to see the personal stories emerge. I find it fascinating how when you put a large group together, they form into cliques, arguments break out, romance blossoms.
I don't just sit back and watch, although sometimes that is exactly what I do - I observe the relationships forming and then I nudge them along a little. I have straight and gay relationships in my game, many of which were not my intention in terms of my overall story arc, but I let them happen. Makes the game very rich, IMO.
