Experiment: Can RoM potions break an NPCs sexual and romantic orientations?

I have an NPC sim that isn't attracted to my gender. I tried drinking alluring aura but it did nothing. I'm actually happy if there is no way to change an NPCs mind without of course controlling the sim and changing its settings to do so, but...have any of you been successful at breaking the orientation setting through normal gameplay features and options? #challenge lol
  • I know vamps have powers to change minds per se too but I don't wanna be a vamp to achieve this. I'm playing an up and coming male actor who happens to have a crush on his homegirl that isn't in to dudes lol.
  • I've actually seen a video about this topic related to vampire powers.

The creator of this video used vampire powers to seduce other sims. The vampire powers only targeted the gender of sims with the gender of those sims the vampire had flirted with before. This video was created before the sexual orientation preference but I imagine the general rules could still apply. There definitely was some kind of sexual preference under the hood in the game before the high school update.

I'd like to see a video post sexual orientation being added
  • But as I mentioned I'm not looking for a vamp solution lol. Anyone else attempt this experiment?
  • You can break it with Social Bunny in a way.
Bunny messages are always successful, so by sending enough flirty messages you can get the romance bar all the way up even on sims with no romantic interest in you.

And with the new system of other sims asking you that could even result in them asking you to be a romantic partner or even marriage proposals as they don't seem to check the sexual orientation but only how high the romance bar is.
But you would still not be able to perform a romantic interaction with the other sim.
