Family Play Story Lines

have you tried doing the 100 baby challenge or maybe try doing something different like make up a story to go along. thats what i do to get myself interested. i think of something for the child is this child the black sheep is this child a nerd what would i do partner wise for this child. i just come up with something and roll with it, like for a child in my legacy challenge. i have a nerdy boy that loves to be a scientist. his little brother is a trouble maker hes always making messes. while their older sister had moved away from home and having twins with her now husband. just something like that

edit: you could also add like same gender/transgender parents or single parent player gameplay if you're okay with that stuff i know some people aren't comfortable with that stuff.

Affairs, divorce, death of a parent leaving one parent to juggle it all, alien abduction, One child being evil, secret vampires.

I like to make up stories in my head and have my families play them out. Sometimes I make them do things, other times they choose to do things that I never thought of and add to my story.

Playing a player sim who goes around knocking everyone in the neighborhood up and not offering child support but offering the gift of populating the world with more characters to interact with.

So... I made myself as a sim, and she was an author. She got married to Travis Scott. We moved into a small two bed two bath house and had one child (a girl, we named her Emily). After maxing our careers, I built us a larger house to move into. We moved into our firstbig home, and he got me pregnant (with twins), and it was during the pregnancy that I got bored. This is when Travis Scott cheated on me with Eliza Pancakes. I divorced Travis Scott & he moved in with the Pankaces (mind you the Pancakes were still married, they never divorced in this game) lol. Travis Scott got Eliza Pancakes pregnant a few times, and then he moved out. I moved him back into the BFF household, and he was just going around and getting everyone pregnant. After I moved Travis Scott out, I turned off sim free will and killed Eliza Pancakes (because drama) and I forgot to turn their free will back on, so shortly after, I accidentally killed her son.
Meanwhile, my sim got married to Troy Santiago (a handsome sim I found on the gallery, he was my oldest daughter's best friend's dad), and he moved into my house, but he left his two daughters to live alone. This is when Travis Scott moved into the Santiago household and married Troy's oldest daughter. MY EX-HUSBAND MARRIED MY HUSBAND'S DAUGHTER LIKE WHAT

Wow that is my kinda story!!! I have this one sim Greyson who had a child with a mom and her daughter Shay, dated Shay's brother Oliver for a while, and currently he is finding himself attracted to Shay's newly young adult daughter Chass. He has an extreme attraction to this family for some reason. I definitely feel he is going to get Chass pregnant. I have it that his daughter with Shay named Maribell is noticing that he's now into Chass and hates him for it. I love when there is a very twisted family tree! lol

Right now I am playing a vampire who is living with his teenage son who absolutely hates him. The boy's mother died of old age but he hates that his father is a vampire. The boy is working on his DJ mixing skill and has friends over for dance battles and messing around.
The father is a politician and author so they are pretty rich and to make up for the lack of affection from his son he adopted two dogs (a male adult and a female puppy). He also invites his vampire club over to spar and watch movies. Sometimes he times his club meetings with his son's meetings so he and his friends can have some free 'drinks' lol. He also buys plasma packs and lines them up on the bar for his friends to drink at will.

I sometimes use his home as a vampire training place. So I would move in a fledgling vampire with him and help them move up to master vampire and get sun immunity and some other powers then move them back out. You are likely to lose your trainee so be careful.

You can also play a loner sim who just does gardening and fishing and when they have accomplished those lifetime wants or maxed those skills, take them to the forest to meet the hermit and have a kid.

Or you can play a house with two roomies and their kids. They live separate lives with different interests and groups of friends but they are best friends.

Or a house with three roomies - a guy and two gals. See if he can succeed being with both gals without getting caught.

Or just pick a random house in one of the neighbourhoods and see what happens with them. Be guided by their traits when choosing their jobs and lifetime wants.

To me the options are endless.

Francesca Brookes moved to Brindleton Bay to take over a, now abandoned, vet clinic. This used to be passed down the family until the Brindleton Pawspital took centre stage when it opened in the 1960s, causing the Brooke's Family Clinic to shut down.

(This is where my story began)

At 18, she fell in love with a man, and after an accidental woohoo causing her to give birth to twins, Sophia and Kara, Francesca and Luke decided it would be best to live together in order to aid the girls. Later when Sophia and Kara were only 9, Francesca and Luke decided that they should call off their relationship, after Luke became slightly too close to one of his friends.

Kara has always been quite an irresponsible person, which is evident from the fact that she fell pregnant whilst she was still attending High School. Despite the fact that she had also given birth to twins, Kara was determined to not give up caring for her two boys; Carlos and Trent, even if this did begin to impact her education.

The girls are now young adults, after having experienced working as a politician in high school, Sophia decided to make this her full time aspiration, whilst Kara (still looking after her children) is not too sure what to do.

That's where I am up to in my game. :smiley:
