Favorite spot for dates?

I like to use Mangolia Blossom (the big park in Willow Creek) for dates. It's a very pretty spot :).

I usually send my Sims to Rattlesnake Juice in Oasis Springs. I'm a little goal-oriented and it's as easy as talk, sit here and chat on the benches out front, deep conversation, flirt, GOLD event. Once a couple has completed gold, maybe I'll let them go somewhere else, but the first date is almost always Rattlesnake Juice.

The Stargazer Lounge already has the romantic trait and I added a Hottub for the ultimate romantic experience. I also like that it has karaoke machines so my sim couples can sing a Love Duet Together.

The Lighthouse Brendleton Light in Brendleton Bay is another place I send my sims on dates. They often woohoo there and it's a great location for stargazing and taking a picture together.

Sometimes I have my couples have a date at home with the Fireplace Channel and all the lights out. As you can imagine they do a lot of making out on the sofa when the channel is on. I have the Jazz Station from Dine Out going in the background. Too bad our sims can't slowdance yet.

Also the fireplace channel is now available on all tvs in the winter time which means your sim doesn't need to upgrade it atleast in Winter.

I find that Seasons had an impact on where to send my sims for dates: a restaurant or a cafe if it's raining, a pool if it's hot and a park if it's snowing (so they can build a snowman together <3)

Restaurants are my go to for dates. I noticed if I get them a table right away and engage both in conversation, no one interrupts ,not even if family or friends happen to be there too. My only annoyance is how the waiter stands right there after delivering the meal, but I have one of my sims send a compliment to the chef and this always makes the waiter leave.
If I want somewhere quiet and romantic, I placed the garden of hot and heavy from the gallery in the lot close to the lighthouse in BB and edited it to add a bonfire, hot tub, small pool and tents. Proposals happen in the lighthouse and then celebratory woohoo afterwards ;)

I will usually do a restaurant for a first date, easier to limit outside conversations with other sims. Sometimes I like to do dates and weddings at the haunted mansion in Windenburg. Park dates are also some that I do but as they marry and have kids, I notice there are much less date nights :(

Got any pics from your game of the updated hot and heavy lot? I'd love to see how you layed everything out especially the hottub.

Maybe I am old fashion but I send them bowling. There are some bowling alleys on the gallery and sometimes I do the movies but the movies they dont sit long enough to even communicate. So that is out most of the time.
