Origin launcher is on C:, games on F: and other than Sims 4 Deluxe and the entire Sims 3 series, nothing I purchased since telling the launcher where to put the games has gone there since.)

Edit: Wouldn't you know that after posting bug reports, and the above, I give the game one more shot, and there sit my purchases. :'( (double face palm)

I like the theme of the EP - but I feel like there are some logistical nightmares with the new careers. This may have been mentioned here, and I know it's been discussed in other threads but:

I've played through the Doctor extensively:
- The staff doesn't help with the patients.

- Lack of staff actually working means the patients line up ALL day and my sim can't possible get to them all - more staff, please!

- Need a way to prioritize severely sick patients so the Doctor can actually see which patients need surgery (at high level Doctor)

- Need an interaction to ask lower level workers to do a specific task. (ie. Mr. Front-Desk-Guy, could you please check in the line of patients in the waiting room so I can actually DO my job? Thanks)
- This interaction would also allow my sim to delegate tasks so she has time to upgrade the equipment without all the patients leaving

- Increase the variety of patients who come in. My sim is always curing the same sims who are apparently very prone to illness ;)


Bonus thoughts:
- Surgery station could have an interaction like the photo studio to allow your sim to "perform surgeries" and other staff would refer patients to the station.
- Upgrading equipment could be a Performance opportunity on occasion


Photo Set Thoughts:
- Love it.
- Would like a chance to choose poses.
- Family portrait option - get that baby in some pictures!
- Romantic couples option with the chance to pick poses

It seems like it has the potential to be a gold mine for all those pose player mods out there, but EA could trump that by adding it themselves!!!

Im pretty upset with the game. I had the detective go to work, he got stuck on his first job at the lot he was at. When he was set to go back to work the next day, he went to the police station, no one was there but him, and it kept saying he was "missing work" so I havent even been able to play.

WHAT? I bought box game, but I have to download anyway? :open_mouth:

I can't open my store using the register, I click on it but my sim won't do anything. Another issue is that icons, transferring funds and the end of the day profits don't show up with any words, just random numbers which appears to be a code or something (for example $2682E845). Because of this is just guess things to click on and what not which led to me selling my store, it's become really annoying because I don't know what all these pop-ups are about.

Disable Aliens option.
Please !

I really love the new hairstyles and clothes, also new items in buy mode. I also like that there are so many people around when you go to some place.
What annoys me alot is that employees don't do their work, they go to chat/flirt with customers instead.
The new world is beautiful even though it doesn't really have many lots..

What I am enjoying and why.

Generally I think it's a good expansion, I really like the idea and surprised that I like the goals in the active careers. I really like the photograph skill, its great to be able to take pictures of the great scenery and the selfies are funny too.
Like the new baking skill because of all the new recipes. Good amount of new objects and CAS items. Really hope that you expand on the active careers in future expansion packs.

Bugs and glitches.

When running my bakery every so often all the sims on the lot would reset.
Also in retail there was an error when trying to save, then when I went to design employee uniform, when I came out it reset my shop to when it first loaded and I lost all my progress :( I'd edited the lot and everything.
Clock times don't match when you are at work. The top one will say that your shift ends at 12.59am even though I finish a 5pm.
All my friends I make at work don't show up in my relationship panel
Sometimes it doesn't ask if I want to go to work and just sends them on their own :(

Feedback.

I am also finding the employees pretty useless (I have cleared my cache files and that didn't help) they talk to customers but never ring up customers and I can't berate them as they aren't do anything wrong, they just aren't do ANYTHING lol
Also the group talking makes the retail experience really unrealistic, all the customers stand in one big group.
Bigger groups for photos and poses.
Thank you for allowing us to edit the work places :) (seriously not enough sinks in the hospitals and computers at the police station)
I think it would be great if in The Sims 4, going forward you could make the expansions connect more with each other, like someone else has said if you add pets then add in an active vet career, seasons a weatherman.
Can we have the option to turn off aliens in our neighbourhoods? I haven't played the science career (even though I'm a big science geek and study science at uni) solely because I do not want aliens wandering around my town :( I'm a realistic player and this really puts me off.

Overall I am enjoying the expansion very much, I'm not too sure how often I will continue to play the active careers once I have reached the top of the careers however. Also, I'm pretty much done with retail already, got very repetitive very quickly. Hope we get a new announcement soon so we have something else to look forward to!
