Festival Plants no Longer Harvastable?!

Ever since the latest patch, I have noticed that whenever I send a sim to the romance or spice festival in hopes of finding dragon fruit, none of the plants have produce available to be harvested! Has anyone else noticed/or found a solution to this? Harvesting the plants was half the reason that I send sims to festivals!

Edit: I may have found an annoying work around. I saved and exited to the main menu then reloaded the festival. After a couple in game minutes the plants had fruits again. Not ideal, but better than nothing!
