Festivals and weather

I feel like the festivals are ruined by the weather. I just went to the Geek one in the snow. My character spent more time shivering and slipping than actually interacting with the festival.

I feel like they need to move them inside.

What are your thoughts?

I mean.... Seems pretty realistic to me. I would just wait till spring or summer to go to the festivals.

You get the random thunderstorms in spring/summer as well. I'll usually save right before I send my Sim to a festival, then if the weather's bad I can reload the save and not bother. If the festival's in the Spice District (Flea Market, Spice Festival) I can at least hang out in the karaoke bar or at The Old Salt House (which I converted to a lounge/bowling alley).
  • I turn rain off during summer and spring these days. That way I can enjoy everything during the lovely warm days. Then when fall comes I turn it back on again.

Yes @dekay they are broken, but I use that weather machine often (I have one in many lots, but some of my sims are not handy, so sometimes the weather gets worst lol)
