Finding tombstones

I don't have an answer for you but I can help keep this bumped up so that, maybe, someone will have the answer.

That happened to me yesterday. I was gone came back and my sim was dead. I was having a hard time finding a urn or tombstone. Finally I seen one on the floor in my house. It was kind of hard to find. I suggest looking throughout the house on the floors.

Happened to me before :( It sucks Mortimer goth died in my game and I can't seem to find his tombstone anywhere! i searched for 2 sim days.

The urns are HUGE, there aren't any in the house or on the lot anywhere. I really don't know where they died as I was not playing their household at the time. I'm playing a rotational game. I really hope there's a way to retrieve them if they don't die at home because I would very much like to set up grave sites for them all.

I've been wondering about this too. I noticed I only saw two of my neighbors when there are three in the house, and when I made them active he was gone. My friendship panel says he's deceased, but there's no sign of an urn or stone anywhere. There are two other friends who have supposedly passed on, but I ran into one of them at the park.

Still a good game. Just needs to have a few bumps smoothed out.

The problem of not having a tombstone for a household you're not playing?

They're not there. Tombstones and urns only drop in the current household.

I should have updated this after finding out but I forgot about the thread. Oops. Thanks :)

Yes, tombstones/urns are only created in your current household so you don't have tombstones littering up the town (and causing lag). I asked them to look into allowing them to be created in played households and one of the Gurus said they would pass forward the suggestion and that they thought allowing them to be created in played households was a good compromise. I don't know if it will ever happen but, at least the suggestion is out there.
