- DaWaterRatNew VanguardI just had this in my sim's house last night. Lamp caught fire for some weird reason.
Just attach it to one floor (I use an outer wall on the base level) and anywhere that has a ceiling will have sprinklers, which will put the fire out (hopefully)
It does take a few moments to kick in, though. - LaBlue0314Rising ScoutFor it to work properly you'll need that and the smoke detector. What will happen is that if something catches on fire and the smoke detector goes off, a few moments later a water sprinkler will go off and put out the fire. Have a smoke detector in any room that has a fire, such as a stove, or fireplace. You only need just one fire prevention system panel for the lot. As far as the sprinklers, that is automatically done once you add the panel.

That's odd, because I'd forgotten to add a smoke detector in that house, and the sprinklers went off. (I have since added them in the hopes that the sprinkler system will respond faster next time.) - Admiral8QNew Spectator

I did not know that. You need smoke detectors to activate the fire suppression system. Makes sense. I'll be putting up a bunch of smoke detectors in my Sim's homes now! - Admiral8QNew Spectator

Try putting the fire suppression system inside. That may solve the problem. One on each floor, maybe, though the mechanics of it are sketchy at best. - Thank You
