Fix babies and generations please?

I have up on baby I just age them to toddler instantly. Toddlers in sims 4 are absolutely amazing. But yes I really am desperate for a Generations pack. Parenthood pack suxxx bad !

Hopefully the team is working on stuff like this, because its definitely is what's most needed right now (not counting real personalities). The game has a billion things for single young adults to do, but families have nothing. And don't even get me started on babies. We absolutely need real babies in this game. It's a life simulator. Early life should be simulated as well as adult life.

Oh I totally agree sim 2 babies were the best ones for computer I love sim free time babies they’re perfect

I am not a family player by any stretch, quite the opposite actually. You could say I am one of those "YA players" TS4 focuses on so much, however, I'd love to have some more activities for children. As it stands now, they are too restricted in the things they can do and have too few exclusive activities to compensate for that. I really don't understand why they can't even do simple things like gardening or playing instruments (all instruments, not just the kids' violin). I don't understand the common complaint about elders not having anything to do though. They can do everything teens and older can do. Restricting certain activities to them would just cause more complaints and might even get into ageist territory in case of stereotypical "elder activities" like knitting. Elders in particular don't seem lacking in my opinion. Also, I feel like TS3 Generations gets a bit over-glorified by some players. It didn't add that much content imho, and doesn't really seem like a huge game changer to me. Then again I am not a family player, so maybe I am just missing something here.


Imaginary friends would be nice, but in another form than in TS3. I hated that every newborn child got this damn doll in the mail. There should be some kind of challenge to get them should they ever come in TS4, not just gifted to every child through the mailbox.

Strollers? Well ok I guess, though it sounds a bit boring to watch a sim walking around the neighborhood with a stroller

One activity for teens I'd love to be added are proms. I have a mod for it installed, but a recent patch seemed to have broken it, unfortunately.

Walking canes aren't really a gameplay feature, just a neat detail. However, whether an elder needs a cane or not should depend on their athletic skill, for example. Not all elders in real life need them. Also please, remove this damn overexertion bullshit. Why would an elder with 10 fitness skill not handle exercising just because they're old? It doesn't work like that in real life.

I'd also love me some more after school activities, and not just rabbitholes, but real ones we can actually follow our sims to. However, this might get repetitive after a while.

And when we're at it, please please please update the looks of the babies. They look so ugly they literally give me nightmares with their soulless stares.

I see your points, the stroller part would be nice to move babies around to have something so they’re part of the family and see them interact with the world just adds to the family part. But I totally agree with baby looks if they’re could do the sims 2 baby where you can see what the eye colour and hair would be it would be cute to dress the babies up in onesies too so that they look different and you can see their skin colour because I’ve had babies age to toddlers and the bah skin isn’t the same.

The problem with the skin color is because for whatever reason, babies don't have all the skin colors available, so it might happen that two sims have a baby with a completely different skin tone because theirs happens to not be available for them. It also doesn't make sense that all babies are bald. Especially people who grow up to have dark hair often had atleast a bit of hair as infants. I'd also love it if they'd give us more options for baby clothes. The color coding depending on gender leaves a bad taste in my mouth personally, so a few more options for clothes are always welcome in my book. Babies should also be selectable so we can atleast see what their needs are. The most annoying thing about them currently is them crying without the player knowing what exactly the problem is.

Babies? Meh - while I didn't play TS2, in TS3 the little burritos weren't any more exciting, even with Generations. You still had to wait to age-up to see whose looks they'd inherited.

The sims 2 you could see somewhat what they would look like you can see eye colour and hair colour by their eyebrows

Out of those two, I actually liked Generations more (I am not particularly fond of any of them though). Teen mood swings were much less annoying and impactful as they are in Parenthood. Many would see that as a good thing, but to me teens with Parenthood looked more like cliche caricatures of what teens actually are like. Character values are pretty unbalanced as well. As for toddlers, I can't really tell because I rarely play with them. But all in all, Parenthood looked pretty meh at its best and completely gamebreaking at its worst. I just disabled it yesterday, the only pack I ever felt forced to do so.

I want real babies so bad.

Babies are the only babies for a short time why mess with them now after 4 years?
