Yep. I don't have Seasons yet, so it's definitely from the patch. Twins in BB, OS, WC and GF (those are the only worlds I've sent my garden tester into).
I had double mushrooms at the Hermit's house, so it's not only trees (unless there were double morell? mushrooms before).
I think I saw double strawberry plants somewhere. I'd check, but she still has a few days left on vacation...
Umm...just went into game. About those strawberries, I have a group of three plants near her rental cabin. Is there ever groups of three anywhere except where they are potted (festivals and Hermit's house)?
Double strawberries on the camp grounds, but the basil is a single plant (and all the unidentified plants are single). A group of triple strawberries on the camp grounds. Guess strawberries are the go to crop this year...
