Yet another mediocre item added to the game.
The worst idea.
I guess dresses and skirts are always going to be a bit dodgy in this game, particularly those with a bit of flare. I can understand that, as I'm sure it would take an awful lot to be able to get them to flow over the limbs and furniture when sitting. My mind boggles at the thought of how hard that would be!
I thought that Maxis was smarter than that, I don't use CC in order to avoid content not optimized for the game.
I made this mistake with TS2 and TS3, I don't want TS4 to have the same fate.

It's our option, either use wide skirts with glitch, or don't use wide skirts. I'm glad they are less restrictive regarding bleeding items. Like with collars and scarves, too - in the past we could not choose for ourselves. I don't mind some bleeding if the item looks good most of the time. Your picture would look less glitchy if ou placed a table in front of the seating. A child could even wear long stockings. I think the dress looks lovely in enough situations to accept a glitch like this, but I'll do my best to avoid my sim choosing a very public seat ;)
... Until random NPC townies decide to use these items. Maxis often overrides player choices.
