Flatten terrain with house

If you press the bulldoze button, there's an option to bulldoze the terrain. Maybe that'll work.

constrainfloorelevation false ... and be very careful. Save before using. Turn off immediately when done. Good luck.

@Cupid Just tried. The bulldoze terrain doesn't work. Gave a message about not being able to do something to the stairs and did not work the first time, then when I went back in and tried it did flatten - only part. This is really annoying me.

Can you try flattening the lot, then adjusting the height of the house until it's level with the rest of the lot?

@ciane Tried the 'constrainfloorelevation false'. No luck while trying that way, so I rolled it back to a backup from this afternoon just to be safe.
@SimTresa I tried that... it seemed to work - sort-of. Messed up the whole pool in the yard (attached), and it's attached/butted up to the one in the basement, so that makes me a bit nervous. To move everything down I had to go in and move the basement down also first as it is apparently effecting the ground (seems to be the area not leveling, so that may be the issue). I'm trying again to see if moving the basement down before leveling will work. I'm nervous about the pool. It wouldn't be a big deal but I have way more hours on this than I'd like to admit and it is a huge mansion. Really wish I hadn't toyed with these terrain tools first. :/ I'll update here after trying this...

@SimTresa ... Yup, that was it. The basement level was what was causing the 'level terrain' to not fully level. I am fine-tuning it and will have to rebuild my stairs (the terrain was constrained to them also, but releases once they are deleted). I think I will try to work this out on this build, as I don't want people to get frustrated with it that are not used to the terrain tools and new 'rules of operation' attached to them when using the house (if anyone can afford it! --- haha, I have a few millionaire sim households that need something to spend all those simoleons on. ;) Hahaha... And hopefully a few 'stars' also, as I am gearing toward them.). Thank you all so much!

Thank you, @rosemow . I just decided to go with flat for now - at least for this build since it is to share and a number of things were a bit quirky with the incline and I am concerned others may have issues with it when placed if they try to do certain things they expect to 'normally' (as with the flat lots we have been used to). I think I'll leave a more 'textured' lot for a situation where people are anticipating and interested in that aspect. I hope that makes sense. Thank you! :)
