followers on sims social network.

When i last played with followers in my sims career, she was getting 100,000+ each time she uploaded a viral video etc. i bought get famous, and now if i am lucky my sim gets 15 followers. she has full skills, everything is a 10. what am i doing wrong??

Everytime my sims update their status and add a picture they also get that amount, unless they are doing a stream. It may just be how the devs tried to balance the social media so that you sim doesn't become a celebrity super fast.

Yeah, it can be annoying, because it appears "Sim just posted the perfect picture!" and she gains 5 followers :| . Makes maintaining the social network a lot harder (and boring lol) but I think that is intentional.

They reduced the number gained from uploading a viral video. It was in the patch notes.
