Food no longer spoil in fridge?

Used to be when you open fridge and hover cursor over food, it would tell you how long until it spoiled. Now there's no such indication at all it will spoil and I've had food int he fridge for weeks that does not spoil ? I always put plates back into the fridge that were not finished (click and drag) and now I'm wondering if it doesn't "fill the plate" back up - seems I don't run out of leftovers and I haven't cooked for several weeks in-game time.

Similar things happening to anyone else?

    Same here, food in the fridge no longer spoils. But I've had the timer come back by putting the food in my sims inventory and travelling to another lot. My sim has the party animal aspiration so I had her take some food she made earlier to a party venue. Not sure if it works all the time though.

    As for being able to clean out spoiled food without the green cloud coming from the fridge, that's an empty group meal platter. That is normal, once you've taken all the leftovers from that meal, the large plate remains in the fridge and is empty. At least that part is still working as intended then :joy:
