- LBonne24Seasoned NoviceI think it looked pretty good. The world was very pretty. I saw lots of water, here's hoping we can swim in it ??. I can imagine my mermaids loving it here. Especially with all the seafood at the market.
I clocked the instapot right away and that he was making rice in it. Unless it's just a big rice cooker? Like I thought rice cooker but then I saw the pressure cooker valve release, esp when he jumped. But I have a mod for a pressure cooker that looks just like that one too. So I'm wondering if it's another case of brining in mod offerings to the game. Either way super happy. I spent forever looking for a good cc rice cooker and pressure cooker. Rice is life.
I also noticed as, he prepped that, that the table was full of new dishes. But the bigger point was that it was FULL. That doesn't happen unless you have like a grand meal. Even setting the table doesn't really fill it up like that. I mean sure I guess you could put a bunch of dishes on the table, but it looks different, esp on the sims plates. So I think we're not just getting new dishes, but like a new meal style.
I rewatched it and still saw no evidence of elevators, just a ton of stairs; pretty stairs, but no stairs. So hopefully they come in like a patch. But idk really know how that would work bc it's paid content either way. Idk but we need elevators. This pack made me really hopeful for them, and through them some more accessibility ♿️ in game. But at the very least don't make me sit through waiting for my sims to go up the stairs to their 5th floor walk up. ?
Also, it seems the apartments are their own little worlds if the trailer is to be believed. Though honestly I'm still holding onto a few grains of salt. Bc the property owner was able to leave their apartment, go to the noisy tenant's apartment, and go downstairs to the electric room. And then still hear the noisy tenant from the electric room. So hopefully no loading screens.
This is also kinda silly but I really like the mailboxes. I don't like the ones is City Living and honestly they look like the wall trashcan from my memory. Plus you never know which is yours so you keep clicking. But these look cute. And you probably just click the block and you're good.
I saw burglars are back. They were never my favorites. So alarms will be going in all of my current sim's homes. And into the apartments I build. But it think it might be fun for people playing with kleptomaniac sims, esp if it's not limited to npc activities.
I'm a bit sad that it doesn't look like live-in-business was added /multi-purpose (?) lots. But it does seem like a nice pack overall. "AncientMuse;c-18322687" wrote:
Okay, I have to ask:
What is "dabbing"? I've seen so many of you mention it...
According to Wikipedia, Dabbing, or the dab, is a gesture in which a person leans forward into the bent crook of a slanted, upward angled arm, while raising the opposite arm out straight in a parallel direction. It appears to be similar to someone sneezing into an elbow. Since 2015, it's been a meme.
Here is a picture

All lots at Del Sol Valley cheaper side will turn to apartments in my game!
Yes!!! Definitely! For me most of Newcrest is already apartment buildings and townhouses, but now they can actually be functional!! Not to mention:
* Townhouses in San sequoia
* Shotgun houses in Willow Creek's bigger lots
* Apartments in at least one of the townhouses in Britechester
* Some kind of mission style apartment build in Oasis Springs
* At least one apartment build or house rental with smaller rentals in Brindleton Bay
So many opportunities! I've really been longing for this.
I also love the hopscotch and marbles! And a trait just for elders! (more of those!) New aspirations, new fear, a new death (I love that mould can be deadly!). I'm hoping the kettle can be used to make tea too, and that there is an non-electrical one you can use on the stove.
I would have preferred an Indian world, to go with all the cas and bb we already have, but the world does seem beautiful. I hope it has more than 5-6 lots. - LBonne24Seasoned Novice

Newcrest is always my dumping ground. But my current save is the one I decided to add all the Sims 2 families into. And now I barely have room in Newcrest for other stuff. So I'm thinking about either dumping them all into an apartment complex. Or building some on what lots are empty.
This is honestly so helpful. They kept giving us these tiny worlds but then we get more and more townies. So when I make a sim, there's no where to put them. Plus the game automatically makes random townies. There's just no where to go. I'm evicting ppl left and right. But if I can make a cute island apartment with bungalow vibes in Sulani, that's a bunch more families I can have. Plus I'd be able to finally place the vacation rental.
Same with Mt. Komerebi. I'm probably gonna have some in every world. Different styles, but definitely. Especially like the magic worlds. Vampires will have heavy shades for their windows and come with a basic coffin room where no sun can get in. The Glimmerbrook (?) (Magic realm) will have like that one empty lot become starter apartments for aspiring spellcasters. And werewolves might need something a bit more sturdy, but yeah I can see this seriously helping my game a lot. Though I may do it in a different save because my main one is really full honestly, and so is the previous one. - BabykittyjadeRising ObserverI loved the trailer. Not the DABBING ???
I love the way she broke in and evil laughed ? - I didn't noticed it at first but I can't believe that we're getting not only two but FIVE new traits! There's a family consisting of each CAS occult type that I'm currently planning and I want the elderly matriarch, Mystelle (spellcaster), to be both generous and wise alongside the proper trait. Those traits seem to fit her just perfectly! ?

Oh yeah, totally! ?- BabykittyjadeRising ObserverI feel like the introduction of the fungus could be a prelude to a collab with the last of us ???

That would be awesome in theory but The Sims x The Last of Us would be quite..."chaotic". Our poor Sims wouldn't stand a chance against the Infected and well, the ESRB rating for The Last of Us is higher than The Sims, so a collab is very unlikely, unfortunately. ?
