- Not going to lie. I'm most excited for hopscotch and marbles. ?
- Now I'm thinking of apartments in penthouses, San Myshuno won't have residentials left after this :p

I swear, if it turns out I can break my Hogwarts common rooms into Apartments, with a couple more for Dumbledoor and the assistant Headmaster and one for Filch, I will lose my freakin' mind.

How many members are allowed per apartment?
Dang, that's a great idea. I have an occult school in my game, and different dorms could let us have way more students walking about.
The Sims 3 system had blacked out apartment areas that allowed extra characters to inhabit a building without overloading it.
They would come out from time to time or you could invite them out. Something like that would help me because I could have students roaming around as NPCs, but only play the students I am interested in.
I am really curious about EA's apartment system.
I should be able to use it whatever the case. Anything would be better than what I have to do now. - MarteziaKing2 years agoNew Spectator

Me too! ? - MVWdeZT2 years agoSeasoned AceI was going to wait on this one, but then I saw hopscotch and marbles. So I'm sold.
I'm not much of a builder, but it does seem to me that San Sequoia and Del Sol Valley would be perfect places for townhomes. Johnny Zest might finally find himself in a trailer park. And I might bulldoze those stores in Magnolia Promenade and build multi-family units there, too. Looking forward to learning more about Tomarang.
The traits look interesting, except for "cringe." Is it the same as "inappropriate?" We already have a socially awkward trait. And is dabbing something that people do while dancing? Elders want to know. - Karamazov1232 years agoSeasoned AceI wasn't really interested in the concept. Like I wanted apartments, but I wasn't clamoring for them and I didn't think they'd warrant their own EP. (Even Sims 2's Apartment Life shared the spotlight with witches, and featured a bunch of other stuff like reputation and social classes.) But it looks like they tackled the system with a lot of depth and fun. But even then, I'm way more interested in all the crazy-fun side content. Like I gotta gush, sorry
- The hairs are great, especially the male hairs. I love undercuts.
- Marbles and hopscotch are my hero items. It looks like up to four kids can play at a time, which I'm hoping for. We need more stuff that kids can do together. They're probably BB items, but I hope our sims can draw the games with chalk out in the wild, so they can play off lots.
- The BB is so pretty.
- Child of the Village and Fount of Tomarani Knowledge hint at the world having a lot of culture your sims can explore. I doubt we'll get a Tomarani Culture skill, but I like the idea of my sim being able to embrace and take part in their culture.
- Mold!
- Love the new toilet.
- The snooping, B&E and blackmailing stuff looks very fun.
- They're pretty generous with traits and aspirations this time, giving us 5 and 4. All of the traits sound like personality elements I'd love to have in the game.
Overall, it feels more lively and full of options than Horse Ranch. Cautiously optimistic about this pack :) - The hairs are great, especially the male hairs. I love undercuts.
- SimplyJen2 years agoSeasoned AceI've seen a lot of people mention the rice cooker but upon closer look, I think it's a pressure cooker. Yes, you can totally make rice in a pressure cooker. The reason I mention this is because around the timestamp @ 0:52 you see the sim release steam from a valve much like a pressure cooker.Spoilerhttps://youtu.be/jSPZtVbVIT8?si=CdVP_sxugDS05oFm&t=52
Such a silly thing to bring up. I just thought it was interesting since I have a unhealthy collection of small kitchen appliances in RL. :D My instant pot kicked the bucket but it looked a lot like the trailer when I did use it. My rice cooker doesn't work like a pressure cooker. I do use that often. Not can expert or anything. Curious what others think who know a thing or two about kitchen stuff. - crocobaura2 years agoLegend

It could be a pressure cooker, I have never used either appliance in real life, but if it's a pressure cooker maybe we will be able to cook whole meals in it instead of just boiling rice. - LBonne242 years agoSeasoned Ace

I completely forgot Magnolia Promenade existed. That's a good idea."SimplyJen;c-18322878" wrote:

Yeah I noticed that too and mentioned it earlier, as soon as I saw the valve on top, and esp after he jumped aside, I was like INSTAPOT. Yep it scares me too. I've never made rice in mine but I've seen the option. I just use a separate rice cooker. But when I saw it I thought about the various meals I make in mine and got excited. To date I've cooked entire chickens, with and without beans, beans on their own, spare ribs, various adobos, dal, curries, etc. All in my trusty pressure cooker, and I've only had it a year. After getting it, I found out how pressure cookers feature heavily in a lot of South, Southeast and (I think also) Southwest Asian cooking/preparation. (Also slow cooking and other methods too.) So it makes sense that they reflect that in this pack along with new dishes.
I love it when my sims get to cook new things too. - ChadSims22 years agoSeasoned Rookie

Traits identify their personality with animations it's about time. Now if only they would go back and rework old traits that have no identifiable animations.
They are a few years too late for dab actually being a "cool" thing to do but I'm all for it not everything has to be modern or in right now. The same can be said for hopscotch and marbles great for generational gameplay.
