For those who don't use clothing CC...

I use cc sometimes but when I don't I have a habit of picking the same things over and have to remind myself to use other items but I never get bored that's not where the entertainment is for me. Eventually, I use cc items enough that I get tired of them and toss them all out to start over though.

I don't find myself using the same things over and over too often. I just dress sims to their personality/lifestyle, which I try to vary from sim to sim.

I don't have that problem. I've been doing makeovers for all of the NPCs and I'm almost done, and I don't think any of them have ended up being dressed too similar yet.

There was a thread showcasing some awesome outfits and I thought I'd bookmarked it but I can't find it now. Anyway, there were so many combinations that I would never have thought of to combine and some outfits I didn't even realize were in game because I mainly stick to full body outfits. So try mixing it up a bit and pairing pieces you normally wouldn't.

For me, it's always best to avoid clothing cc only because of the fact I can't transfer these sims to my regular saves that don't have cc on, so I work with what I have. That being said, I do actively try to vary all my clothing styles all the time and have more recently made various different sims with more irregular styles that I usually wouldn't pick out on some ordinary sim.

Sometimes I use the randomize option and it has given some surprising combinations and I would never have chosen on my own.

well, i am a cc user but i've been deleting cc clothing lately. i've only got a handful of it now (mostly for male sims).
i actually think the clothes selection is pretty nice now with all the packs, the hair is where the game is lacking for me. i have tons of maxis match hair cc and i'll probably never delete it.

Nope, but that's cuz I have all the packs and I also only play with the same sims and that's not a lot of them. XD
