For me, it's always best to avoid clothing cc only because of the fact I can't transfer these sims to my regular saves that don't have cc on, so I work with what I have. That being said, I do actively try to vary all my clothing styles all the time and have more recently made various different sims with more irregular styles that I usually wouldn't pick out on some ordinary sim.
