- I'm looking for an answer to this as well! Hopefully someone will reply soon.
- YorksRob3 years agoSeasoned AceI normally create a group and then go from there with the cheerleading
- Idk about the best way, but I know you can "convince to join team" on other teens, I havent tested it yet but I assume the chance of success are higher the better your relationship is.
- AaronRulz783 years agoSeasoned Acewell I just went into each teen townie household live mode and have individually join the cheerleading or football activity. A bit time consuming but it got the job done.

Just be careful with sims casually throwing ball with friends if they have it in their inventory. Practicing football destroys relationship in a hard way. Every bad hit takes double friendship points down and they will eventually get the festering grudge sentiment. Because of that I’m staying away from football until there is a fix for this. I can understand this happening from time to time, but right now it’s happening all the time. My sim couldn’t practice without loosing friendship with his family na HS friends. And his dad got festering grudge against him, because the ball hit him. ?- Llandros20123 years agoSeasoned Ace

This is extremely annoying - my sim couldn't even practice without damaging relationships. I got around it because he was a celebrity and paparazzi were always around and he just made them practice with him but that won't help if it's just a regular sim. I am avoiding football as well for now. Also, not having any competition judges show up is making the events absolutely worthless. I hope this gets fixed quickly with all the other known bugs that are happening. - Well, I had my teen sim set up a club and I tried to remember who her teammates were from when they had that meet up thing. Or you can wait until that happens and it'll tell you who the members are and add them that way.
