My longest legacy was a rotation of 12 families from the same matriarch that I played for about 2 years. I made it to generation 9.
It was a lot of work and I had to keep good records to keep everything straight but it was sooo worth it.
Five. At the time, I didn't have every pack that was currently out, so I got bored by fifth generation. I'm now in the process of having my founders go through college so one can be a teacher and the other can be a lawyer. I might give them more than two children.(like I'd always given them. This most recent time, they'd ended up with a daughter and boy/girl twins. After their generation all three kids ended up with sons! I scrapped the save.)
