Fossil from Get to Work not counted as collectible

Did you open them? The fossils & the time capsules usually aren't counted until you open them to reveal what's inside.

Yup It doesn't show up when I open the collectibles menu it only shows the fossils from Base game and Jungle Adventure.

I know I already did and as I said it doesn't have a slot in the collectibles menu :smile:

So, just to be clear, once the fossil was in your sim's inventory you clicked on it opened it, revealed for example the fossilized mustache (my favorite one) and it still didn't count?

Hmmm. Sounds like a glitch. Have you tried repairing your game? Maybe @rosemow has some suggestions. Because once you reveal the fossil inside it should count toward the Collection Day task list for the scientist career, and toward the in game collections list. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

From the guide for Get to Work from SimVIP they also said that it is a bug that prevents the fossil along side the new element and some new plants to not count as a collectible and no rarity.

Can you try to check in your game if the fossilized sand worm does count please? I tried repairing the game many times already and I am not sure about the guide from SimVIP.

I can, but not until much later today, I'm not at my computer right now I'm on my tablet because I have a doctor's appointment and some errands to run before I can play today.
