Freelance botanist issue

Since installing Seasons I am finding this is taking a lot longer to get going, as plants need watering less frequently and then when you do water it waters multiple. For the first level you have to water or weed 10 times, and I am getting the option to do these so rarely that I am struggling to get onto the next level. Any tips??

    You could place a huge garden or greenhouse on a community lot like a national park and have your sim travel there and tend to all the plants.

    If you have enough space, try placing your plants further apart so your Sim will only water one plant at the time. If you don't have enough space, you could, once they need watering, temporarily store them in the family inventory and water them one by one.
