Freelancer Gigs Still Broken

I am playing a Freelance Crafter and accepted a Gig. I completed the tasks (including sending the finished work to the client) and awaited the deadline... Then nothing. The game didn't register that my sim had completed the gig. Is this yet another issue waiting to be fixed? I anticipate patches over packs now more so than ever.
  • See if you can get the gig again and see what happens then. Some times with Sims the problem will correct it's self. In order to do this, you select that gig when it comes around again. Then cancel that gig and then select it again. This should correct that problem if the problem can be corrected by selecting the gig again.

Yeah, it has been broken for a while now. https://answers.ea.com/t5/Bug-Reports/OPEN-Freelancer-All-task-done-Gig-not-completed/td-p/8249033

modders fixed the bug a long time ago but since you are playing on console all you can do is wait for a patch unfortunately. I don't know why it is taking them so long to fix it.
  • Fallout 4 is strict in the mods it allows. Bethesda endorses mods. EA doesn't. Sony only allow safe mods e.g. something that won't brick your console.

I'm not saying I want access to mods. I'm saying I want official console fixes.
  • I am able to accept other available gigs, it's not guaranteed that that specific gig will be available still. My sim also doesn't get paid and looses performance because I have to quit the gig to accept another task or get a job.
  • @logion Thank you! Confirmation that this is still a bug that has not been fixed by EA/Maxis. Yes, yet another bug console players are stuck with when pc have the benefit of mods.
  • It's Sony that doesn't allow modding for some games for some reason. I know of 2 really popular video games on the PS4 that you can't mod. Sims 4 of course and the other is Conan Exiles. You can't mod that one either on the PS4. But you can mod Fallout4. Funny, isn't it?

I knew what you were trying to say right from the beginning. Yes Fallout 4 console version has restriction on it when it comes mods. But how ever Bethesda Studio does not support modding of Fallout 4. Unless they have changed their minds about that recently since Bethesda Studio was bought by Microsoft a few weeks back. Now Funcom, does support modding for Conan Exiles on PC. But not for console since you can't mod Conan Exiles on console.
