The promo image shown to us before they announced the new kits was very interesting. And in the description beside it where they hint at the upcoming kits that were announced today, there were travel related hints about going places and being borderless. Which I think is interesting, since France is in the EU, and is famous for essentially being borderless. And one of those kits had a definite travel mention, Incheon Arrivals.Anyway. I was wondering where I saw that promo image before. If you look up how oranges are related to France, you'll go down the rabbit hole of the orangeries of the kings of France, and King Louis XIV's orangeries. There are ducks right next to the oranges, who look like they're about to kiss. I'm willing to bet Duck a L'Orange will be a new recipe.And as someone below mentioned, there's a bottle of nectar mixed in there as well. In Sims 3, Nectar Making was a feature in the France world within the World Adventures expansion pack.I've had an inkling about a romance pack for awhile. And Paris is known as basically the ultimate city of romance. I'm wondering what others think.

It's possible, but there are so many other rose windows around the world, too, and many share similar characteristics as well...

Maybe I'm just holding out hope for it to include both hotels and casinos, which I associate with Monte Carlo, but I'm hoping for a more French/Italian Riviera or Mediterranean coast inspired world for a romance pack.A lot of the Princess Cordelia art depicts something like what I'm hoping for.

Also University, but thats more Princess Cordelia stuff. We've gotten crown banners and other stuff in Cottage Living too that made me think royal pack too.I really hope we get a casino pack. I've been expecting a France themed pack for a while now...or speculating about one, at least. I think it'll come sooner rather then later and this really helps my theory. I don't remember why exactly but several months back I thought we were getting a heist themed pack set in a French-ish world. We'll see what happens!Also, if I remember correctly, in Sims 3 World Adventures nectar making was based in their version of sims France, and in this image there's bottles of something that I'm choosing to assume is nectar. Hmmm....

I would love getting a French new world, objects, gameplay & CAS. Being that I'm part French myself. ;)

Definitely agree we're getting a French Game Pack. Hope it encompasses more than just the Paris cliche, City of Love. The French pride themselves on food, art & style, but also place a lot of importance in family.

Think it'll include:

New World theme(s): Parisian, South of France (countryside & Riviera/Monaco)
Emotional Traits added to Likes/Preferences; sims that prefer the Alluring trait will now attract that type (Season of Selves)
French Cuisine recipes: Duck a l'Orange, Nectar, escargot, ratatouille, nicoise salad, baguette, brie, onion soup, creme brulee...
CAS Household Relationship update: boy/girlfriend, partner, BFF, extended family (what simmers are impatiently waiting for)
Community Lot: hotel (maybe)
Activities: boating, tennis, baccarat, slots, pool table (pure wishlist)
Whims update: Fear(s) added (now i'm dreaming)

I wonder if we ever get Nobility, would not a French world be a rather good opportunity? I'm not thinking of the full royal/noble system, besides there are too many versions in the real world, Maxis could come up with a generic and vey simple system though, perhaps just 2 or 3 titles and some sort of gala stash and a way for the simmer to customize a peerage's patent (or House) sort of (traditions, gender, skills, careers etc - could blend well with the club system, too). If a small feature it could come with the French pack, if bigger we'd probably rather see it as a separate pack...

Something mysterious or extremely coincidental is now going on.

I just noticed that bottle sitting on the floor in a Pub in Windenburg.

I can't interact with it.
It's just sitting there. What is this?

Hmmmm that is interesting. Is that a new object in the game? Hopefully it's not just a glitch. I'll have to check my save and see if it's there.

Unfortunately I think it's just a glitch. I had this happen in my game a long time ago.
