Frogs Question

I mean in the worlds the frog logs aren’t spawning anywhere

I had this happen in my main neighborhood all the collection spots switched over to the dig patches. Have a sim (not a child sim they can't for some reason) dig up the dig patches and they should hopefully reset to being normal collection spots with the frog spots appearing where they should be located again. You can also catch frogs in the ponds at the parks (if you haven't replaced your parks with new parks at least) as well as in the Forgotten Grotto) I believe there's not a cool down period for the ponds though sometimes sims won't catch anything.

(also, 'plain' counts as a prefix for this. so leaf frog + striped dirt could give leaf, dirt, striped leaf or striped dirt. these can really help expand your collection once you have at least one of each 'color' (leaf, dirt, eggplant, heart, or sunflower) and one of each 'type' (plain, striped, spotted, surfer, whirly). with at least one of each of those, you will eventually wind up with the full 25 via breeding, though it's slow going

Tysm for the suggestion. I also feel as if the cats and dogs items are overpowering it. Hopefully the team might correct this issue.

Unfortunately just went to granite Falls and the dig spots were everywhere it looks like EA took them all out and replaced it with dig spots.

yeah, i just checked in my game (i had sims already camping there). most of my spots are normal, have crystals, fossils, frogs, whatever is supposed to be in them. but there's one dig spot in the deep forest. weird that i've only got the one there while you seem to have them everywhere. try what the other person suggested, about having a sim dig there. hopefully that will reset them. at least for a time

It didn’t reset them at all still there. Maybe it’s the save file.

I resst my folder, took out my mods, started a new save and there still only digs and rocks. I have no clue what the issue is.

I take my sims to every world/neighborhood to collect, fish, explore. I'm finding frogs everywhere. Now if I could find the info I had on which one to breed with witch to make the new frogs.

@catmando830 HERE you go should still be up to date I don't think they've added any new frogs to the collection. Keep in mind however that every time you breed a frog you have at the very least three potential outcomes (either of the two breeding types or the mix types) but some can have more so it does take some patience to get them all but I find the frog breeding to be way easier then say the MySims collection to complete lol.
