Your plan to run a fruit and vegetable stand /market sounds great! :) It will be very nice for your sims to buy fruit and vegetables there. I hope that your creating of the build goes well! :)
You will need to make sure that the fruit /vegetables items are set for sale, so as NPCs are generated and so your sims can come and buy the produce.
