Has anyone run this type of biz yet? I'm in the process of creating one but interested in knowing if it's worked out. I have some sims whose gardening skill I don't care to level up but they like to cook and bake with fresh foods. So it would be nice for them to buy them at a fresh market. Also, I was kind of hoping we would get a fruit stand with Get Together since they had some in the early Windenburg renders.Anyway, I would love to see everyone's creations and hear your stories :smile:

Your plan to run a fruit and vegetable stand /market sounds great! :) It will be very nice for your sims to buy fruit and vegetables there. I hope that your creating of the build goes well! :) You will need to make sure that the fruit /vegetables items are set for sale, so as NPCs are generated and so your sims can come and buy the produce.

But luckily the owners are my minimalist sims and I might sell some handcrafted furniture or sculptures. I have a bakery owner and it's annoying having to search for all fruit ingredients or spend time leveling up her gardening skill. I think it's cute to be able to buy her produce locally visit a market.

@jimbbq Ugh Man that sucks! My customers are buying from it, but If I take a sim to shop, it do anything. Also, when I "fill" the fridge, the fridge doesn't begin to look stocked, as I know it is supposed to. If that makes sense.

yea I have the same problem....the whole NPC run retail aspect is not working properly at the moment with food and fresh produce. I think if you are selling items from the buy catalogue it is fine though

I thought I was going crazy as I filled my NPC and non NPC ran food shoppes and everytime the food would disappear the next day I played. I thought I had an issue with my mods, sigh, I hope they fix it. I think I will have a test run with foods from the unlocked catalog and see how that goes. I shall report back this weekend :)

I am sorry that you also are having this issue. It is affecting the food shops of many simmers.

I have the same issue with my bakery. When I play another household and I got to visit, all of the cakes and pastries are gone.
I hope they fix it soon.
