- Fanphoria4 years agoSeasoned AceNo idea, but I'm pretty sure there's a cheat to reset all skills.
- You can reset the skills to whatever you'd like them to be at. If you shift click the sim and go to cheat sim info there will be an option to set skill level and you enter anything from 1 to 10. A max skill sim will stay max skill unless you reset the skill levels individually. If there's a faster way, I haven't found it but some may know of an easier way.
- Lazzial4 years agoSeasoned AceYes, cloning the sim will give you a zero skills clone. It's also less time consuming than resetting the skills if it's a maxed out sim because they also usually have a long list of reward traits you'd need to get rid of as well.

So I downloaded a beautiful vampire from the gallery, but it is an updated max skilled sim :s I want to play it but the full skilled stuff is a nuisance for me. So if I cloned it do the skills reset to zero (for the clone)??
Make a twin in CAS and delete the original. You will need to redo outfits and hair/eyebrows. Weight/muscle sliders might differ too, so make a mental note of where they are. - Admiral8Q4 years agoSeasoned Acehmm...
- How do you 'clone' a sim with zero skills, please? that seems pretty vague advice and nowhere near as simple as you try to make it sound.
Personally, I hate max skilled Sims but I understand why they exist. Many creators work very hard on their Sims and then someone takes them and re-uploads them. Max skill ensures that the sim is only downloaded for the look, not the game play. - JaggidEdje4 years agoSeasoned Ace

I may be wrong, but I think they mean how you can import an existing sim into CAS using the "Add a Sim" button down in the lower left corner and then choosing to add a sim from your gallery.
Or maybe they mean using the clone machine (from GTW). - Admiral8Q4 years agoSeasoned Ace

In my opinion, game play is far more important than "looks" or "max skills".
I do often make or take or dl characters, then tweak their skills with the intention of releasing them as NPCs.
Max skill on everything is boring. Also doesn't make any sense. If a Sim character was actually played to max all skills, no cheats or mods used, I would be impressed. Especially with all the packs. - Admiral8Q4 years agoSeasoned Ace
Ok.
Reticulating Splines....
To remove skills from a sim, you can do it manually. However the skills will go to level 1, not completely gone.
You probably will need a mod like MC to forget all skills.
