Fun things to do in sims4 Parenthood

One fun thing i like to do in Parenthood is make the grandma snoop around her granddaughter's journal while in the granddaughter's room.
  • Have you ever tried to get all the character values of a sim in the red? Now that's a fun challenge!
  • I love working on character values! It gives purpose to ordinary everyday tasks like doing dishes, completing homework, giving compliments, volunteering, etc. I don't care as much for the pop up texts though and I'm finding it hard to develop the emotional control because it depends on mood rather than tasks.

  • very immature, but it's funny when my sim (mostly unprompted) belches or breaks wind and seeing whether the people around them start to dislike them or laugh at them.
  • I like doing the character values but it's annoying when you have multiple kids/teens in one household and are trying to get different values for them because I tend to forget which kid is going for a specific positive trait and which for negative.
  • Yep. Done the Diary/Journal thing. I had Summer Holiday reading (her adopted daughter) Lisa Bunch's Diary. Lisa was NOT happy when she caught Summer reading it one day. :fearful: I'll leave it at that.

Ugh! I'm bad at those advise cards! Thank God I'm not a real parent! Let's see -

    1. Yeah, maybe they missed the first one.
    2. You can't force friendship.

:/ Dunno how I'd "score" on the parent quiz.

These are kind of weird - why would it lower emotional control to wait for someone to text you back? I should think it would raise emotional control. And why would it lower empathy to be friendly toward someone? Maybe the grand friendly gesture would be a bit much, if someone doesn't want to be friends, since it would put them on the spot, but just being nice doesn't obligate anyone.

Mostly, I tend to pick the response that does the least damage to empathy and responsibility, even though it might not be the best response. Manners can be made up by lots of table-clearing and table-setting (or having the parent lecture the child). I keep trying to get a kid with a full red on emotional control, but that's hard to do - spamming tantrums doesn't push the bar very far.

I didn't know about the journal snooping option - I'll have to try that!
