Game keeps freezing?

I have not bought the expansion yet, but I would go to Origin, then to "My Games" then scroll down to the Sims4 or GTW expansion (this one if it shows) then right click, scroll down to "Repair Game" and see if that helps?

I doubt repair game will fix freezing issues.

repairing the game probably wont fix it, that's just always the first thing I tried, LOL
Maybe what rosemow said will work? I have this bookmarked in case I run into a problem when I get the expansion pack!

mine freezes and lags a bit if i have the online access enabled. once i disable it, it stops with the lagging. been like that since the base game and other players have found turning off online access is the best trick. just turn it back on if you want to use the gallery

Is it a black screen freeze? If this happen is just the game or your computer also?

If this is the problem I read that uninstalling origin, restarting you computer and reinstalling origin will fix the problem. They say its because your game loses its connection to origin and goes in to a shut down.
