Is it just me or are we lacking content this year? I have only played the game twice since January (including today), because LIFE. Logged back on today to see if we had any updates the update file wasn't that big which I found odd since the game still crashes on me if I'm traveling a lot, or there are the max number of sims at an event (yes my game is utd, yes I repaired it, no I do not have any mods or cc downloaded or installed atm). Back to the original topic.. since I have been on hiatus there was one game pack released, that's it? What is going on? Any ideas? I have started playing rags to riches challenge now that I've got some free time coming. Should keep me busy for awhile.

They sais in a stream a little while back that they will be releasing a game pack, a stuff pack and a expension pack in the next 6 months. The first one may arrive soon. I hope.

I think it mostly has something to do with how they’re dropping 32 bit support. My expectations are that they will start releasing more content again after the big June update (which is when they are dropping 32 bit, I believe).

If they where going to do that why not make the 64 bit version to begin with. This is screwing so many people out of money. I have to figure out what my system is compatible with now. ?♀️?

That's the problem. I have checked and am okay with the 64 bit transfer, but the people who can't play the full version with more content and updated versions of the game have to buy a brand new computer. I'm sure you are aware of how expensive they are. It's not fair to the sims community at all. They should have stuck with it or moved on to sims 5. Not everyone has the luxury of going out and buying a new PC.

That's the problem. But they aren't losing any content that they paid for, so how are they being screwed out of money? All the content they paid for will transfer to the legacy edition and they can continue to play. And, how would moving on to sims 5 as only 64 bit, vs continuing with Sims 4 as only 64 bit be better or different? In both cases, 32 bit players are being left behind. Again, to be honest, I'm surprised EA is giving the legacy edition a go and allowing people to continue with all their purchased content.

So, no one is being screwed out of money, except maybe EA as 32 bit users won't be able to purchase any FUTURE content, but still have all their already paid for content at their disposal. (They did say any future content, so 32 bit players might still be able to buy past packs)

If you have to buy a new computer in order to get updated versions of the game and more content added to the game they are wasting your money with an unnecessary expense.

They don't "HAVE TO" buy anything. If they CHOOSE to buy a new computer, to continue on with their gaming hobby/interest, that is a CHOICE they make (and probably a smart one, if they are trying to play a 2019 current game on 32bit system).

I mean if someone still has a 32-bit computer that’s their own fault ?‍♀️ They’re outdated, and a lot of companies dropped support a long time ago.

While I agree with both of you, it's not fair to the people who haven't gotten a new computer since 2013 or the people who do not know anything about computer stats. That's the point right there as I have stated three times now. Some sim players are not computer gamers and shouldn't be lumped in with them. A few people I know play on laptops and they suck all the fun out of playing the game because of the lower processing system. Just seems odd that they would start on a 32 bit and go to the 64 bit when the operating systems where out way before the game released.
