Game Options - turning off snow and rain [PROBLEM SOLVED]

I recently discovered the option to say no to snow and rain, which I did in Sulani. However, the game seems to totally ignore my settings. I've now played all four seasons, and nothing has changed. ...

It was the "Weather Realism Overhaul" from MTS (modder is no12). If you want to search your files, this was the actual filename: Weather Overhaul 1.4 - Sunshine Update. However, I think just searching for Weather Overhaul would bring it or the other variations up.
