Kitchens in bars is evidently a pub thing in the UK, where there is some actual food being served alongside drinks. Devon was going on about how pub lunches are a real big thing and I did see some gameplay that expaneded the food menu for bars with new offerings.
But yeah, I weirdly find myself leaning more towards the basic "EA builds" because then I can make it for me. I played the Akiyama's household a lot and I find myself going..."how the heck would I make an addition or a renovation to this lot?" I like the crane build because it's real unique but I had to smoosh in a lot of things I would naturally add on in weird ways, like solar pannels and insect farms.
Oh and I did a full replacement of the Nishidake household because I really didn't think the on-suite bathrooms would be a real common thing for a home like that. It's a weird thing I was really hung up on.
It's weird.
Exactly. Heck James is probably my favorite "Celeb builder" but even he makes mistakes. The Lounge in Snowy Escape for example, where he should have known that putting a piano where he put it doesn't work. The obvious intention was to have people sit and listen, but the piano is too far away so all the Sims will either not be close enough to hear it, OR walk up on the stage and stand around it instead of sitting at the tables half a room away and listen.
It's a small thing and not game breaking, but it is an obvious sign of someone caring only for looks, not functionality.
